Kelsey Apperson
My name's Kelsey.
I'll be a sophomore at Muskingum University.
I have yet to declare my major, but I plan to double major in English and Digital Media Design (with a focus on journalism) and possibly minor in History and Psychology.
I've had writing experience throughout high school as Student Sports Reporter for the Morgan County Herald, and have continued building my resume with work at the Black & Magenta, Muskingum University's school newspaper, which also serves as the New Concord paper and is available to surrounding cities--Cambridge and Zanesville, OH.
I spent my freshman year as a Staff Reporter, at which I had a number of stories and photos published both in the paper itself and online. I have also currently gained the position of Opinion Editor, which means I am responsible for editing opinion pieces and designing this page of the paper.
My passion for writing has gotten me this far, and landed me here at Suite101, writing this for you to read! I'm very excited about this opportunity to write for such a large audience!
